The Torus MAXI is a self-filling hydration system for any dog over 6 kg (13 lb). Water is stored inside the hollow ring and flows into the drinking area by gravity as your dog drinks. The water stays sealed from dust, hair, and air until that moment. No power, no pump, no cords. The weighted base means even big dogs cannot tip or flip it. No mess, no spills. BPA-free. 68 oz. Who is the MAXI for?
The MAXI is for any dog over 6 kg (13 lb), from Beagles and Border Collies to Labradors, Shepherds and giant breeds. It holds 68 oz (about 2 litres) inside its walls, enough for a full day for most dogs. Torus for K9, agility and therapy dogs.
- Medium dogs (6 to 20 kg / 13 to 45 lb): one MAXI covers a full day.
- Large dogs (20 to 36 kg / 45 to 80 lb): one MAXI, topped up once a day.
- Giant dogs (over 36 kg / 80 lb): we recommend two MAXI units.

How it works

Fill. Remove the cap and filter, fill the ring with water, and refit.

Flow. Turn the cap to "flow". Water passes through the filter into the drinking well and stops at the correct level.

Drink. As your dog drinks, the well refills from the walls. Only a shallow amount of water is open to the air, and the rest stays stored and shielded from dust, hair and debris.

Lock. Turn the cap to the padlock and the water stays inside, ready for the car, the park or a trip.

Frequently asked questions
How often do I change the filter?

Every 30 days. Change it sooner in multi-pet homes. The activated carbon filter removes up to 99% of common impurities and reduces chlorine taste and odour.
Can a big or excitable dog tip it over?

The MAXI has a weighted base and controlled flow, so it is very hard for any dog to tip, flip or splash water out of it.
How do I clean it?

Once a week, fill the Torus with warm soapy water, lock the cap and shake vigorously. Then empty and rinse. You can also use the descaling tablets in the Torus Cleaning Kit, available in our shop. The Torus is sealed, so you never need to open it.
Can I use it in the car?

Yes. Lock the cap to carry it to the car without spills, then unlock it when you start your journey so your dog can drink along the way with no spills.
Does it keep water cool?

It keeps water cool for longer. The water is stored inside thick, durable polypropylene walls with natural thermal resistance, away from the open air.
My dog is over 36 kg (80 lb). Is one enough?

We recommend two MAXI units for dogs over 80 lb, placed in two spots where your dog is most active, so there is always enough water through the day.
