In everyday terms, a torus is a hollow ring — and it's this shape that allows our hydration systems to store water in the walls and dispense it as your pet drinks.

Torus is a unique hydration system with lock, flow, and fill functions. Water is stored in the reservoir walls and released into the drinking well as your pet drinks — filtered on the way through. No power, no batteries, no cords.

Torus stores enough water for a full day. It's extremely stable and difficult to tip. It controls flow to reduce spills and mess. It locks for travel — car, park, or holiday. It filters water with replaceable Cleantech filters. And it's fully cordless.

All Torus water dispensers come with a 12-month manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase.

There are two options: the Standard Filter and the Advanced Cleantech Filter. Both come in packs of 6. Each filter lasts approximately 30 days. You can subscribe to receive them automatically every 6 months — Subscribe & Save saves you 20%.

Standard Filters contain certified activated carbon that removes impurities. Advanced Filters add BioSafe® antimicrobial within the filter media — FDA compliant and NSF certified.

Each filter is effective for approximately 30 days.

The filter basket can be recycled. The activated carbon is fully environmentally friendly and the PET capsule material is recyclable.

Yes. All Torus dispensers manufactured from January 2021 include IONPure® antimicrobial technology built into the plastic. It helps reduce bacteria on all surfaces — passively and permanently.

Torus dispensers are made from food-grade, BPA-free polypropylene (PP) — the same material used for food storage and medical applications. All dispensers are fully recyclable, including packaging.

Yes. All Torus products and packaging are fully recyclable.

Yes. All materials are food-grade, BPA-free, and certified. Filter ingredients — activated carbon and antimicrobials — are naturally occurring and safe for pets. On rare occasions a pet may have an allergy to polypropylene. If so, consult your vet before use.

Clean at least once a week. Fill with warm soapy water, vinegar, or a food-safe sterilising solution. Move the cap to the lock position, shake for a minute, then empty and rinse. The dispenser is sealed — you cannot open it — but regular cleaning keeps it fresh.

When the cap is turned to the flow position, water fills to the top of the water outlet. This is the correct fill level.

If water fills above the outlet, the filter mechanism may be misaligned. Remove the cap, ensure the neck slots align on each side of the bowl, and reinsert.

Same fix — remove the cap, check the filter mechanism alignment, and reinsert so the cap slots sit correctly on each side of the dispenser.

All dispensers come with a 12-month warranty. If yours is leaking, contact us immediately via the Contact page and we'll resolve it.

Replacement caps are available in the accessories section of the store.

The Torus is sealed to protect the internal mechanism. Opening it could misalign the flow system. Cleaning by shaking with soapy water (cap locked) keeps the inside clean without needing to open it.
